Refunds & Returns Policy

We want you to feel confident and cared for when ordering from Andrea Nicole Art. Every artwork is created with intention, time, and heart, and because many of our pieces are made especially for you, our refund and returns policy reflects both fairness and the realities of bespoke artwork.

Please read the sections below carefully, as different products have different conditions.


Bespoke Commissions

(Life Illustrated & Companion Portraits)

Life Illustrated and Companion Portraits are made-to-order artworks, created from photographs you provide. Because of their bespoke nature, refunds are handled differently to standard art prints.

Your Approval & Refund Window

• Once your photo is received, Andrea creates an initial artwork stage (outline sketch for Companion Portraits, coloured proof for Life Illustrated).

• You’ll receive a watermarked proof by email to review.

• At this stage, you may request minor refinements only, such as:

– subtle colour or tone adjustments

– small additions or refinements

We’re unable to redraw or redesign the artwork at this stage due to the time already invested.

Refund Eligibility

• If you decide not to proceed at the proof stage, a full refund is offered.

• Once you approve the proof, the artwork moves into final production and refunds are no longer possible, as the piece is being created specifically for you.

This applies whether the artwork is printed, framed, or supplied as original work.


Original Art Prints (Non-Custom)

These are prints created from Andrea’s original artworks (for example, Banana Grove or Things Still Bloomed).

Print-Only Orders

• You may return print-only artworks within 14 days of purchase if you change your mind.

• Prints must be returned unused, undamaged, and in original condition.

• You are responsible for return postage and for ensuring the artwork is safely packaged.

Framed Prints

• Framed artworks are non-returnable for change-of-mind, as they are finished specifically to your selected frame colour and presentation.

• Returns are only accepted if the item is faulty or damaged.


Framed Artwork, Damage & Faults

We take great care with packaging and production, but if something isn’t right, we’ll always put it right.

What Counts as a Fault

• Print defects

• Frame damage

• Incorrect item supplied

• Clear production errors

Reporting an Issue

• Please notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

• Clear photographs of the issue are required.

• Please retain all original packaging, as this may be needed for assessment or courier claims.

Where appropriate, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.


Colour & Image Expectations

• Colours may appear slightly different on screen due to variations in monitors and devices.

• In-situ room images (artwork shown in interiors) are illustrative only, created to help you visualise how an artwork may look in a space. They are not to exact scale or dimension.


Shipping & Delivery Issues

• Delivery delays (where parcels are not lost) are not refundable.

• If an item is believed to be lost in transit, please notify us within 24 hours.

• We will work with the courier to investigate and, if confirmed lost, arrange a replacement or refund.


Refund Processing

• Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

• We usually process refunds the same working day, but your payment provider may take up to 14 days to complete the transaction.

In some cases, we may offer:

• Store credit

• An exchange

These are always discussed with you first.


Buying as a Gift

If an artwork is purchased as a gift:

• Refunds and returns must be handled by the original purchaser.

• Recipients are welcome to contact us with questions, but refund decisions remain with the purchaser.
