I made Banana Grove during a peaceful break in Dartmouth, at the end of a long season of training and competition. Walking through Overbeck’s Garden, the banana grove felt grounding and restorative, a moment of calm I didn’t realise I needed.

This artwork holds that feeling for me. A reminder that strength isn’t only built through effort, but also through slowing down, noticing, and allowing space for yourself again.
