Artwork Story
Artwork Story
Twilight was created during lockdown, at a time when the world felt small, quiet, and uncertain.
Like so many people, I found myself missing simple things I had never taken for granted before walking freely, being surrounded by trees, feeling open space and fresh air, and letting my thoughts wander without fear or restriction.
There was a lot of worry during that time. A lot of questions. A lot of moments where everything felt heavy.
Painting became my way back to myself.
This piece grew from a deep need to reconnect with nature, not just as a place, but as a feeling. The feeling of being held by colour, movement, and life. The feeling of standing in a wild space at dusk, when the light softens and everything feels quietly magical again.
I painted layers of flowers, vines, and drifting shapes as a way of building that world for myself. A place where imagination could breathe when reality felt limited. A place where beauty still existed, even when things felt uncertain.
For me, Twilight represents that moment between fear and hope. Between darkness and light. Between feeling lost and finding your way back.
It’s a reminder that even in the hardest seasons, our inner landscapes remain alive. And that creativity can carry us through when we need it most.

Materials & Finish
This artwork was originally created by Andrea using acrylic paint, applied by hand with a layered, expressive approach that builds depth, movement, and texture.
Reproduced prints are professionally produced as fine art giclée prints on high quality, archival cotton paper. This paper is carefully chosen for its subtle texture, excellent colour reproduction, and ability to retain the character and tonal richness of the original painting.
Framed artworks are finished in high quality standard frames, available in white, black, or natural finishes. Each frame is paired with a clean off white mount, giving the artwork space to breathe and ensuring a timeless, balanced presentation designed to suit a wide range of interiors.
